History and places of interest

Already in the chronicles of 1448 the hotel-restaurant “Rotes Haus” is mentioned as a road- and guesthouse.
The “Rotes Haus” is one of the oldest and most renowned taverns in Brugg where several prophets once resided.

The Vindonissa museum, the roman amphitheater, the minster “Königsfelden” as well as the castle “Habsburg” are the most famous and historical sights in or around Brugg.

Social commitment

As our slogan “becoming fit for the economy” implies, the Hotel Rotes Haus Brugg plc. campaigns for people. That for our hotel takes part in the cantonal development programs such as a certificate-course, integration actions, practical apprenticeships or basic educations.
With accompanied traineeship in the sectors housekeeping, cleaning and breakfast, we provide people to gain positive work experience and we help people catching up with expectations of future employers.
We render these services on behalf of the foundation Rotes Haus and in collaboration with the foundation Wendepunkt Wettingen (technical responsibility and Job-coaching).
